This class focused on the many roles of the BSN professional nurse as well as the history and future of nursing. I learned about cultural diversity, social justice, and determinants of health. The ethical principles of justice, autonomy, beneficence, and nonmaleficence were also stressed. This paper discusses a very difficult topic about decision making during a disaster and the allocation of scarce resources.
